Labuhanbatu Utara

North Labuhanbatu Regency is a newly created regency of Labuhanbatu Regency in accordance to the Law No. 23/2008 on June 24, 2008 concerning the Establishment of North Labuhanbatu Regency during the administration of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The capital city of this regency is located in Aek Kanopan. One area of this regency is Tanjung Pasir was once ever the seat of Kualuh Sultanate in the past.
