Tourism Information

Sipinsur Geosite has become one of the main tourist areas in Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The extent of about 2 hectares and is located at an altitude of 1,213 meters above sea level. This pine forest area also functions as a camping ground. There are also playground facilities for children. From this Sipinsur Geopark, tourists will directly face the second island in the middle of the smaller Lake Toba, Sibandang Island. The island can be reached within 10-15 minutes from the port of Muara, about 30 minutes down the hill and the winding road from the Sipinsur Geopark. The distance to this attraction is about 18 kilometers from Silangit Airport in Siborong-borong, North Tapanuli.
