Putri Island is a marine tourism destination located in Sibolga, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. This Mini-sized island is approximately 12 miles from Sibolga. Before it was known by the name of Pulau Putri, this island was more commonly referred to by the name of Pulau Pasir Putih.

The size of the Putri island is only about 2.5 hectares but still offers stunning panoramas. From this island, you can also see Marsela Island up close. If you have ever watched the film King Kong, it is on the island of Marsela where the film was made. If you're visiting the princess island, it never hurts to stop by this Marsela island.

The visitors to Putri Island can get there through the port of Sibolga with boats available at the port. It takes about one hour to cross to the island. Arriving visitors on this island, visitors will see white sand and blue sea water that is very clear and clean.

Putri Island not only serves soft white sand, but on the edge of the beach there are also many coconut trees which add a beautiful view. The waves in these waters are also quite calm so that visitors can snorkel safely.

When snorkeling, visitors will see small fish playing with the herd. Not only that, you can also easily enjoy various coral reefs because the waters are still very clean.
