Tao Silalahi is another natural tourist destination that you can find in the corner of Lake Toba. It is located in Silalahi Village, Silalahi Sabungan District, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra, not so far from Tongging and Paropo.

The beauty of Tao Silalahi is beyond doubt. Lake Toba water here is not green but looks so clear. In addition, we can cast a view to see the beautiful Bukit Barisan in the distance.

Many exciting activities can be done at Tao Silalahi. For example swimming or surrounding the lake by renting a boat owned by a fisherman. But you must remain vigilant because under the lake there is the deepest trough on Lake Toba whose depth reaches more than 900 meters.

Don't want to get wet? You can leisurely fishing for fishes and jadir fish that are milling about in the lake. Certainly fun and enjoyable if you catch and eat your own fish.

When it gets late at night, you can also set up a tent to spend the night in the Tao Silalahi beach area. This beach is often used as camping ground because it is wide and beautiful. The air feels very fresh and cool, very fitting for tourists who want to spend time while getting closer to the universe.
